- So far it’s been frustrating I used this app today for some experiments in slow motion videos with some elementary students. Our first experiment was shattering a thin sheet of ice with a paper clip shot from a rubber band. Most attempts failed but we got two good hits. When we tried to play back the videos, I wanted to scrub ahead to the hit, but sometimes the video swiped to the next video instead, and sometimes the red circle on the video time counter just disappeared when I put my finger on it. Sometimes the videos were just black and we could see nothing while other times the same videos would play. It was very difficult to check our successful work.
I began deleting the failed videos, but even though I only deleted a video after watching it and confirming it was a failed attempt, later we couldn’t find one of the successful videos. It seems somehow it was deleted in spite of my careful checking. We also couldn’t tell from the video pool which video was the first. Sometimes what should have been the first one or the last one turned out to be a different one. With the wrong videos being deleted somehow, the order being inconsistent, the scrubbing not working well, and some videos refusing to play, it meant that all our efforts ended in disappointment and frustration for me.
We have only one video now and it refuses to play sometimes. I’ll try another app.
