かつて9版を購入したのにいつの間にか使えなくなりダウンロードも出来ない状態で困っている方へ。レビューに対する公式の回答にも解決法を記したウェブページのURLがありますが、下記の方法を試して下さい。私はiPhone、iPad共にこの方法で解決しました。
まずこのアプリ（旧OALD）を削除します。本体（iPhoneまたはiPad）を再起動します。App Storeからアプリを再ダウンロードします。アプリを起動してCatalogueタブからRestoreします。OALD9の項でDownload dictionaryをタップします。サーバーの状態にも依るでしょうが数分程度でダウンロード出来ると思います。
物書堂の辞書アプリに統合出来るのは物書堂版のOALDを購入した場合に限られます。こちらのOUP版OALDとは別アプリです。
他のレビューにもありますが、evident の例文音声が8版、9版共におかしいですね。

書籍版は最も評価の高い学習用英英辞典です。数々の英和辞典もこの辞書を参考にして編纂されてきました。
現バージョンでは検索用アプリEurecaからのURLスキームでの検索とコールバックが問題なく動作します。
IAPが誤解を招くことがあるようですが、アプリ側に非は有りません。
8版から利用していますが、割安価格で9版を購入出来て良かったです。

9版のみダウンロードした状態では、予めCatalogの9thをOpenしておかないと、URLスキームで検索できなくなりました。
- いつのまにか使えなくなっていた 何年か前に購入して使っていたのですが、先日ひさびさに開いてみたら使えなくなっていました。
フルバージョン使うには3800円払えと表示されます。バージョンアップしたら使えなくなるのなら最初から購入しなかったです。
過去に購入したバージョンを表示するにはRestoreをタップしてくださいと出ますが、何度タップしても出てきません。
i don’t see previously purchased dictionary when i tapped Restore button. i can’t use OALD now, even though i purchased it in old version before.
