Once great game that now puts making money over player satisfaction When this game came out a few years ago, it was the best mobile game I had ever played. I felt the monetization model was fair, and you could accomplish quite a bit as a free to play player. That has slowly changed over the years, starting with the elimination of the reasonably priced crystal subscription they used to allow and continuing today with the extreme amounts of money (hundreds of dollars) to fully upgrade a single end game viable character. I've seen many people say that they continue to play this game and can't get into other games in this genre because they'd rather play with their favorite Star Wars characters instead of random orc 3, but I argue that if it wasn't for the Star Wars characters this game is in many ways worse than other similar games on the market. They have a very greedy business model, and unless you have literally tens of thousands of dollars to spend on it, they don't care about you (they've actually publicly stated something to this effect). Stay away and save the thousands of dollars.
