Clever adaptation of Match-3 Much like Tripple Town, Oink has taken a tired system and injected several clever twists to make gameplay in the early stages a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, in the late stages the grind gets tedious in a sort of JRPG way where the "difficulty" is tweaked by massive Hit Point enemies, or regenerating HP.
Here the monetization mechanic takes center stage as you need lightening bolts (this F2P game's version of crystals) to either destroy blocks in your way (which are sometime chests that have a gacha mechanism to give you different powered heroes) or trigger effects (destroying a specific kind of block usually, but some others will randomize the game board) by this hero characters.
Summary: the core gameplay is great, but the progression gets tired after the first 10 stages and it becomes hard to want to continue. And this is a death sentence for a F2P game.
