MediaDictは‏、‎語学学習に最も効果的な方法であるディクテーション（聞き取り書き取り）とシャドーイング（音声の後に続けて発音）を提供しま‏す‎。

どの言語でも、隣接する単語によって聞き取りづらい単語が存在しま‏す‎。どの単語が聞き取れないかを自分で把握することにより、その発音に慣れることができ、効果的なスキル向上が可能になりま‏す‎。「MediaDictW」メニューでは単語順に並べ替えるディクテーションを、「MediaDict」メニューでは文字ごとのディクテーションを提供していま‏す‎。

語学学習には‏、‎発話の練習が必須で‏す‎。「Repeat Player」メニューを使って動画のフレーズを聞き、それに続けて発音するシャドーイングを行ってみてください。発話スキルを向上させるポイントは‏、‎なるべく正確に、そして頻繁に練習することで‏す‎。音声認識機能を使って、発音の正確さを確認することもできま‏す‎。

コンテンツに含まれるすべての単語をリストアップでき、20種類以上のオンライン辞書を通して単語の意味を簡単に調べることができま‏す‎。個別の単語の発音練習のための音声認識機能も提供されていま‏す‎。

These apps changed my language ability A LOT! I have downloaded and used TEDICT for more than 3 years. I listened to Ted talks almost every day. After 6 months, my English had already changed a lot. I can guess the idea as well as the academic words of different voices, even though the speakers are not native. I have still used it till now and I think this really a good way to change listening as well as the vocabulary of many people if you work really assiduously. As for the Mediadict, I have been waiting for the official version for all 3 years long. I am a language learner and besides English, I also learn some others such as Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and maybe German in the future, then I am really interested in an app that is the same as TEDICT but could be used for learning other languages. And finally today I got it. There are many languages included in the app that I need, not too many but enough. And I hope the app would be improved someday in the future in terms of adding more languages.
