So far perfect. Just started using TransferWise this week and successfully sent my first transfer from Asia to the United States. The exchange rate was as advertised. And the app kept me informed at each step. The service is cheaper than any other bank I have used in my 30 years living outside the country. And the app seems quite intuitive and easy to negotiate. Update: I have used TransferWise for just over a year now and it’s great. I had only one misstep. A person at my hometown bank refused to accept the transfer for some unknown reason. TransferWise notified me, politely, and asked me to check my details and resubmit the transfer again. I did and contacted my bank, which saw their error and apologized; so I resubmitted it with no problem.
I was interested to receive some money from my relative due to bank rate is very high I was trying to login to this app for the first time, and it mentions my details has been registered to a non-email address, which made me feel very anxious and paranoid has somebody using my details to do some kind of online scam, I’ve tried to contact the customer service and there is no options or any direct line to message them email or call them just through the app which I’ve been waiting more than 32 minutes for some connection but it keeps showing the loading sign without any changes... I will try to contact other companies that can help me get through to this app customer service to find out who is using my details and doing transfers or some kind of illegal actions with my name... I hope the company reads this review and contact me to help me or assist me with my issue.
