- Thoughtfully and beautifully designed app, easy to understand help (wow!) I love the unique look of this app. It is very thoughtfully designed, with information laid out right where you’d expect/want it to be. The performance is snappy and responsive, touch targets are easy to hit, and there is a clear hierarchy of information.
Incredibly, the help pages are actually easy to read/understand, and it’s relatively simple to find what you are looking for. In a banking app! This must be the only one, anywhere in the world.
And they even went to the trouble of designing an iPad app! And it’s not just a blown-up iPhone app; it’s a *real* iPad app, with layout that makes sense for the form factor. I have not seen any weirdness in the layout or anything. It’s damn near perfect.
Just an outstanding user experience from top to bottom. Very, very impressed with the level of craftsmanship here.
- SCAM lost all my money aware! 日本語は下記 I transferred considerable amount of money from my Japanese account to transfer wise Japanese account. It’s been a week but still recepient has not received any money! Furthermore Japanese support line is not working! Furthermore now you can send minimum 130K JPY you cannot send less!!! I sent an email but was told they couldn’t identify my payment even though I sent all evidence and my bank confirmed that transfer was made properly three days ago. Now I have to consult next step with a lawyer or perhaps with a police. I’m preparing vlog about this scam so stay tuned. Please be very aware!
大きな金額を日本の銀行口座から送金しました。自分の銀行とも確認してお金はちゃんと届いたと言われました。ただトランスファイズの人はなにも受けてないって言いました。ちゃんと依頼した送付の証明も送りましたけど。その上日本のサポート電話番号は動けなくなりました。メールですごく遅いスピードだけで対応してもらいます。もうどうすればいいか存じませんので警察か弁護士かと相談するしかないです。皆さん気をつけてください。加えて今は13万以上の金額だけ遅れますので本当に危ないです！！！
- So far perfect. Just started using TransferWise this week and successfully sent my first transfer from Asia to the United States. The exchange rate was as advertised. And the app kept me informed at each step. The service is cheaper than any other bank I have used in my 30 years living outside the country. And the app seems quite intuitive and easy to negotiate. Update: I have used TransferWise for just over a year now and it’s great. I had only one misstep. A person at my hometown bank refused to accept the transfer for some unknown reason. TransferWise notified me, politely, and asked me to check my details and resubmit the transfer again. I did and contacted my bank, which saw their error and apologized; so I resubmitted it with no problem.
