- Udemy is great. This app is not so good. I learned so much from udemy.
This service is totaly awesome for me.
But this app needs fixes.
I have no idea where to put the feedback. So I write those here.
1. Too small closed caption
OMG it's too small. And I can't change the size.
2. Download function is bugged
I'm not sure I'm downloading or not. And it stops sometimes? Something is wrong about this.
- Such a bad implementation of the offline feature The offline are barely useable. Some videos doesn’t finish to download even with a night out. Many (shown at 100%) downloaded videos are only partially downloaded, some times at the end, many times right in the middle of the video. The self build player doesn’t really like frame or seconds loses and it needs to be fast forward to be unblocked. The tall videos are stretched and with a terminal which the main part end up at the very bottom of the screen, we can not see the “action” part of the screen.
Why did you spend time and money on the player? The build-in player works ok and you have plenty of room for improvements. Need more product manager for prioritization?
I was watching the Flutter course from Angela Yu. You should take a look to (re)build the app.

- Video Playback is a Joke It’s truly amazing that a platform like Udemy still REFUSES to fix any of their completely broken video playback issues on mobile and tablet. Did you fire the entire dev team for your mobile and tablet app? Videos seem to start and stop whenever they want. Did you minimize the Udemy app for 1 second? OK, the entire course will now reply from the very first lecture. You lost your place on video number 43 out of a 100? Too bad, our player can’t keep the position and reload.
The best part is, when you have your sales, NONE of the videos that introduce the courses work on your native app. I have to log into google chrome or safari to view them. What a waste of time. Just delete this app if you’re going to waste everyone’s time like this.
Seriously, get some engineers to fix your video player.
