Great with Media Monkey Really happy with this as I now have a remote to control my FLAC files. Occasionally the app can't detect my home network but this my be due to an aging phone. Like it a lot better than the remote for iTunes. Overall a very intuitive user interface.
MM5 Finally MonkeyMote supports MediaMonkey5! This allowed me to upgrade to MM5, which I wanted to do because it supports dsf files.
But I have noticed two glitches on the part of MonkeyMote:
1. The “year” info of each tune in the tag doesn’t seem to be conveyed. It isn’t displayed in the media details popup nor in the playlist as it appeared with MM4.
2. Some, not all, album arts in dsf files don’t show. They do appear in the MediaMonkey screen on Windows so they are definitely there in the file but they don’t show up on the MonkeyMote screen on iPhone. However, they do show up for some dsf files.
I suppose these are plug-in problems, as the ios app itself is the same.
