I’ll keep my old pro version... I had the Xe currency pro app (i paid a very long time ago to ditch all these annoying ads), which was very nice and relevant, still is. Then i got a notification on the « old » app to download the new one... big mistake. It lasts 3 minutes on my phone, direct to the trash. To Xe devs, if you still do this kind of trashy app, don’t even bother to actually start dev it, friendly advise. Also, who want to transfer money with an ads packed app ? All wrong guys
When it works… While I don’t use all of the features, this app works well enough quickly showing me conversation rates between the different currencies I use, and charting the changes over time… Until it doesn’t. It will sometimes just refuse to update from the server and get stuck in a loop waiting. During this time I can still make conversions using the outdated numbers, but it won’t show me any graphs. Sometimes it will stay like this for days at a time and happens so often that I can’t really trust it to be available when I need it.
