Control playback, speed, PiP (& more) of web videos in Safari - with this clever web extension.

Vidimote upgrades for your video watching experience:

• SPEEEED: watch videos at up to 2 x original speed, finely adjustable in 5% steps. Save time watching videos - without missing out on any content. Or watch a live stream's recorded part at increased speed - until you're "back to live".

• EXTENDED PICTURE IN PICTURE (PiP): Vidimote adds controls to the macOS PiP feature for Safari web videos: now you can jump ±10 seconds, adjust speed, see the time remaining and more. Use Vidimote to move web videos to PiP, then control them directly there and continue watching while using other apps.

• CONTROL: jump ±10 seconds, use the position slider and - of course - play and pause.

• SKIP: quickly skip to the end of a video you don't want to see

色々物足りない I'm missing a lot of things. キーボードショートカットがない、ホワイトリストがない
他の拡張機能と競合しているのかは不明だが‏、‎時々デフォルトの速度に戻る不具合がある
No keyboard shortcuts, no whitelist.
There is an occasional bug that reverts to default speed, although it is unclear if this is a conflict with other extensions.

It will also be possible to retain speed across pages in the future: global and website-specific settings are on the roadmap.
紹介画像そのままプレイリストから大量の動画や曲を流すのにはいいけど、正直なところSafariでいちいち拡張機能からVidimoteを選択するのが結構手間で‏、‎使う場面が出てこない。Safariで動画の再生速度をいじりたいのなら買う価値はあるかも！でもそうでないならあんまり得ではない。
