When typing in Japanese, there is a bug that causes the input to be terminated unintentionally and forcibly, even though it is still in the middle of typing. (This bug is especially likely to occur while typing Kanji characters.)
This is a fatal bug for an application that requires text input, but it has been left unresolved for more than half a year without an update.
For example
If you try to type "このアプリには致命的なバグがある", the text input is forcibly terminated by itself with "このアプリにはちめいて".
This bug does not always occur, but it appears quite often, and it causes a lot of stress.
It is difficult to explain this bug in words.
The normal flow of events would be
(1) Input "ちめいてき" on the keyboard.
(2) Candidates for "致命的", "地名的" , "知名的" appear in the Kanji candidate list.
(3) Select "致命的" → complete text input
but it is difficult to explain.
Situations when bugs occur
(1) Input "ちめいてき" on the keyboard.
(2) When the word "ちめいて" is being inputted, the inputting process is forced to be completed.
I have done everything I can do, including updating iOS, restarting the device, re-downloading the app, updating the app, etc., but no improvement.
I am very disappointed that the application has been left unattended for more than half a year with such a fatal bug, even though I have paid a high fee and subscribed to an annual paid plan.
Is the developer unaware of this bug because it only occurs when inputting Japanese?
I hope you can do something about this, since you seem to have a Japanese subsidiary.
