Great potential, but needs improvement I like that Boo focuses on personality matching and the translation feature makes it easy to use abroad. However, there are some fake accounts using the same photos with different profiles, especially with Asian women. If the app improves its fraud detection, it will be much more trustworthy.
Good for all kinds of connections I rarely write reviews for apps like these but Boo is actually very flexible regarding the way you connect and communicate with people, operating more in a social media capacity, and incentivizing people to make posts. It’s a good concept to encourage ‘lurkers’ to come out of their shell and share with others. I’ve had a good time asking people questions and learning about others and their hobbies, new experiences and games, etc.
