Wide shots made easy! AI animal tracking and better data management would make it perfect I’ve been using Insta360 mainly for scuba diving, and I’m really impressed with how easy it is to capture beautiful wide-angle shots underwater. The image quality is excellent, and the connection between the camera, the mobile app, and the cloud is smooth and reliable, which makes editing and sharing highlights very convenient.
One feature that would make this even more valuable for divers is AI detection and tracking of marine life — fish, small animals, seaweed, corals, etc. Most divers care more about following and recording marine creatures than filming themselves, so this would be a huge improvement.
Another point is data management: video files are much larger than photos, and memory cards or cloud storage fill up quickly. It would be great to have an easy way to keep only the parts we want and delete unnecessary footage right in the app.
If these features are added, I believe the value of the Insta360 ecosystem and cloud service would increase even more. Looking forward to future updates!
Extremely disappointed. Not suitable for professional use. Very slow I bought the ace pro 2 hoping that they would fix the whole having to toggle Dolby on every single videos before downloading them. It is the most annoying thing and I still up to this day. Don’t understand how they could not think that it was just wrong to force people to have to do that 100 times before they get their videos on their phones. It almost feels like a joke. Not to mention that unlike the Olympus TG6 and 7 where using an SD card reader is just so easy and quick it is almost impossible to use card readers to be able to upload your footage to your phone because of some sort of former issues it is highly frustrating especially when you need to upload these pictures quickly to someone’s phone forcing myself to have to spend extra time into downloading everything on my own and then having to create Google Drive files so that people get access to those videos I am definitely disappointed and I will probably resell this camera.

If you wish to transfer videos quickly, you can use it in conjunction with Quick Reader. Regarding the Dolby mode issue, we'll forward your suggestions to the R&D team.
