Repeat Until You Pay I can’t speak Japanese, I’m sorry. However, I’m quite disappointed to say that for all my excitement, I’ve been a little let down. ¥610 just to proceed past Stage 1-9? That’s ridiculous.
You can barely do anything in the game except challenges with the very limited options after you’ve cleared all the free stages. I understand that this is, of course, their way of making money, but 8 areas and free players can’t even finish 1? That’s more than stingy.
There’s only so many times you can play the easier levels by trying to get to the top, and eventually those who pay are going to have higher SP skills because they get to adventure further. Therefore, the SP is going to be more useful and help their times.
There’s really no point investing in this game unless you’re satisfied with “You logged in for 2 consecutive days :)” or are planning to purchase the All Access Pass. It’s not worth your time if you’re intending on being F2P.
On a positive though, at least Tails has been written fairly accurately again. You have no idea how happy it makes me when the SEGA writers portray Tails at least a little bit closer to his Adventure era personality. But, this is based off of just what free players can see. Maybe his character gets worse later on in the story, I don’t know.
Overall, I’m kind of disappointed in this app. I had high hopes but, like many other mobile games, it’s locked behind pay to win. It’s only a matter of time until someone uploads the story cutscenes to YouTube though, so at least I won’t be waiting too long for the main reason I downloaded the game.
