Updated review A year since my original review, they are pushing P2W more than ever.
First, item upgrades are for each individual character instead of upgrades being shared for all characters. I can’t imagine if you are a new player how horrendous this would be…if you like to use a specific character, it would be luck of the draw if you could power up their items or not.
Next they have recently reduced the amount of coins you get from crates. Supposedly the “high” amount of coins was an error by the company which they “fixed” in this update. Funny how this was never announced as an error before…
I have stuck with this game because it’s fun to play and maybe has become a habit to play daily but haven’t spent anything in over a year due to the fact that there is
1. Still only one map(after almost 2 years!!) 2. Bugs that still persist and have been around for a whole year! 3. Changes that were intentional but never announced so players thought they were “Bugs/Glitches” (this coin issue isn’t the first time that this has happened) 4. Matchmaking!!!!! If you play the game I really don’t have to say more than that. 5. And of course OVERPRICED PACKS. There is no way I would spend close to 50,000 yen to upgrade one character. …there are like over 20 characters….just no.
Of course one could argue that the last reason you could just grind(which I have) but the issue is the amount of coins you receive in order to upgrade characters. With more gold coming from crates I had a chance to upgrade more characters and therefore different play styles but with this new “update” where less coins are available one should just focus on the strongest characters if you choose to continue playing. Upgrade your Ollies folks!!

….unless you like Ollie that much…
And don’t spend your hard earned money on this game until they are TRANSPARENT with their information!!
