Great, but soon to become an expensive subscription I love Linea, but it will soon become a $1/mo. subscription. $12/year. I'm willing to pay $2 or so per year for an app I use as much as I do with Linea. Perhaps the app has moved upstream, away from sketchers and doodlers to professional artists. ... I'm disappointed that I'll soon lose this app (or just stay with the current version getting no more updates). ... Hey Linea! Why not make an enhanced version targeting professionals and keep a simpler version for the rest of us? You could make the cheaper version either a free loss-leader into the premier version, or you could just price it at a level appropriate for is usefulness for the 85% of your audience who just don't need all the new features. ($2/year)

Ace Sketching App Been using this app to improve my terrible skills and it almost hits all the spots! The UI is simple and can be hidden with just one button 😺
Fills a nice spot for sketching as I find ProCreate a little too much. I love the paper texture with the pencil 🙂
I don’t like subs so being able to pay for a lifetime sub is a great option.
All I could wish for would be the following extra features, you could even add them as subscriber only feature 😉
* Lockable Projects. Would be useful for those using this for work (confidentiality is often needed!) or just to stop the kids messing with my drawings!
* Fully customizable resolution options (I know you can choose the aspect ratio). I also wonder if the iPad Pros (especially “the 2020 models) could support even higher resolutions?
* More grid templates! Grids are great for beginners, it would be nice to see a few more steps. At the moment there’s a big jump from the big grid to using the large 1x1 and the circular axis.
