Kenya to Guangzhou! OMG I had such a nice ride. The driver is from Kenya studying in Atlanta for four years. I told her I am from Japan but is heading back to Beijing, China because I work there. Then she told me her amazing story. She used to live in Guangzhou, China for two years back in 2016. She told me so many humble and beautiful stories and memories in Guangzhou. She told me the quality of life is good there because people can have hot foods with very affordable prices. I had a driver scheduled this morning but he could not come because of bad traffic so I ordered Urber. This short ride to the airport is the most memorable and heartwarming memory I will take home. Thank you so much!!!
Uber drivers are unhappy Dear team, I feel obligated to write to you about this. Uber drivers are not happy with the deal they have with you. Especially when we try to pay them through Uber. Sometimes they say that the cut is too huge if the payments are not done through cash. Sometimes they say that all payments are made only on Monday, and getting paid only once a week doesn’t serve their purpose. This leads to a lot of confrontation between clients and Uber drivers oftentimes. Which is inconvenient for us. More importantly, auto drivers in Agartala are simple hardworking people and deserve to get a good deal (in life and from a multinational organization like you). I am not sure what they really need, whether it is bigger share of profits, or more frequent paychecks, but most probably it’s just a better explanation of how the system is beneficial for all parties, but I believe an intelligent business like you can figure out what it would take to keep the drivers happy and more satisfied. Perhaps you could work out a system that is better inclined to benefit our auto drivers. Hope this helps. Thanks for your time.
