I agree that YT ads are annoying, and we would remove them if it was possible. The problem is that they were updated some time ago, which caused unexpected side-effects while using YouTube with 1Blocker enabled. Apple's tools that we use are a bit limited, and they can't cover certain YouTube scripts right now, that’s why certain kinds of ads or the white screen may go through until we have a proper solution.
Google puts a lot of effort into making YouTube's ads invisible for content blockers. And they usually roll out the changes for specific groups of users only, making it really challenging to reproduce them. Many content blockers are affected by these changes, but we keep monitoring the situation and it may become better with each update.

Do you use any custom DNS configurations in your network? Could you ensure that the following settings are enabled in iOS Settings > 1Blocker? - Background App Refresh - Mobile (Cellular) Data
If the issue persists, please set Firewall to DNS Proxy (not Auto) in the Firewall's preferences — the (...) menu at the top right corner of the app's Firewall tab.
