Epic No other game quite like this one. A perfect balance between a very well defined world that feels real, really good game mechanics that let your characters fight in a turn based strategic game, with the additional fun of leveling up characters on top of having to make story defining choices. First class. The execution alone, with its hand drawn characters and animations make you feel like watching a feature animation film for adult, while being actually able to control the outcomes of several storylines. The overall threat to the world seems a little too vague and too world changing at the same time, but that’s a minor issue with the story the creators chose to tell. Also more control over the itinerary of the journey would have been nice to feel a bit less linear, but I understand how difficult it would have been to keep close to the story. By the end of the 2nd episode, most characters really feel like yours. Can’t wait for the 3rd instalment, but I would also love to see other games based on the same rewarding game mechanics. Cannot recommend enough.
