Enjoyable, but in need of some fixes. Overall relaxed and enjoyable town builder. Haven’t run into anything too challenging or difficult other than waiting for stuff to finish building/mining etc. Currently around day 70 and have noticed some issues that are a bit annoying. There are two main things:
First, I constantly run into having way too much of something one instant and not being able to store it, to not having enough of it (I’m looking at you wood and iron). All goods take the same amount of storage, regardless of their actual use. The result is that you either have to heavily micromanage, or have workers spend a significant amount of time waiting for space to open up. There also doesn’t appear to be a way to dump items from warehouse(unless I missed something), so if you have too much of something not important and need to make room for more important goods, there is doesn’t appear to be a quick way to do it other than to find a way to consume it.
Second, and actually annoying to the point that I think it’s a bug. I have been trying to train archers, I have been through five people, and all but one came out getting shot in the knee and becoming crippled. If I have to cripple 4 people just to get one archer, there’s just no point. Think the rate that they fail needs to be heavily adjusted. I have not yet tried the other training buildings.
Hopefully a balancing patch is in the works at some point, because it is rather enjoyable aside from some issues.
