The idea is good but... Well as I was saying, the idea is indeed good. It’s a game that make learning kanji easier. As a guy who is now still studying Japanese for the JLPT N2 goal, I love this game. But the way it was implemented or designed is poorly produced. First is the UI, it’s just ugly. The buttons, layout, and menu, everything is just poorly drawn. It’s like some indie work of some IT college student if you ask me. And about the app, the way it works is somehow buggy. The description of each Kanji appears is way too slow, and the description itself is somehow not enough for someone to memorize it. And the voice that read the kanji is also the problem. The Japanese pronunciation volume is way to low and it goes so fast that I couldn’t hear what the word is, and for English meaning of it, it’s just Ok. Gameplay controls is simple enough, but why isn’t there a way for me to drag or swipe the kanji tiles like tetris? Isn’t it better that way? Oh, and the settings is still got many bugs left, there’re some settings that won’t apply after I turn it on or off. Oh and I got crashed about 2 or 3 times in about 2 hours of playing. (I’m using an iPad Pro 9,7)
