Too many features missing I don’t understand why this app has a high rating. This app doesn’t deserve this overall rating unless Docomo (NTT) doesn’t bring the following features to this app! 1- 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I also use this app on my Sony 4K TV, however, I can’t use this while other fans enjoy those features all around the world. 2- Profile management. I’d like to create more profiles in my family like Netflix or Amazon Prime, however, still we don’t have this. 3- Interface is definitely not user friendly. Not the original (global) app’s interface. Just the one had been used in Disney Deluxe (this app’s former name). 4- I live in Japan and I know that I need to understand Japanese well. However, there many Star Wars and Marvel fans as foreigners in Japan. However, the interface has no English support while it shows that it has on Apple Store.
NTT is a global and giant IT company in the world. However, they could take care of this app better than Disney does for their own app. I don’t have a big hope but hope they’ll add the above features to the app
This is a Disney product? One of the worst streaming apps I’ve ever used. The content might be great, but this app is a clunky mess, especially the Apple TV version. -Constantly hangs -Spinning circle of death -Error message says not connected while other apps and streaming services are connected and working fine -Doesn’t indicate previously viewed content -Doesn’t accurately keep track of a partially viewed content or allow that content to be viewed from the paused point -Menus don’t contain the content they’re supposed to contain -Oh and did I mention, hangs every time it’s opened, and after every viewing (if it finally works). This app is the most frustrating product I’ve ever used. I want to watch the content, but I literally HATE this app.
Awful, impossible to set up in Japan in English. I never had such a miserable experience in my life trying to set up this account. I seriously don’t recommend anybody trying to set this up over here in Japan. First off you would think to give the option to download the app in English. Not everyone living here in Japan is Japanese. Secondly, with that being said the whole app and set up is all in Japanese. You can’t even register through this app because you have to go onto the website to register. 🤬! Then even after you manger to complete your registration you still can’t login through the app or on the website because it tells you you’re not on the official website. Believe me when I said I’ve tried everything. 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤬I have a Apple iTunes Japanese! account over here if you would think I could register though my Apple account to set it up but nope that’s not the case. If anybody is reading this please skip the process because it’s not worth the pain and misery trying to register for Disney Plus being I guess I have no choice but to stick with Netflix. I was honestly going to leave Netflix and go over to Disney Plus but seeing they don’t want to make things simple to register then I guess they don’t want my money.
