Horrific update Hard to believe these guys have such a high rating. The previous incarnation of this was probability 3 stars at best. Like all Japanese credit card or banking apps (I use 5 including this) they are full of irrelevant text and barely functional. The most recent update has made this Orico app even worse than the mediocre, poorly functioning eye sore that I’m accustomed to, now it’s an app that looks like it was designed by a group of teenage schoolboys using a Commodore 64.
Don’t bother if you are not Japanese Incredibly poor experience but not all together unexpected. Let’s face it, the Japanese banking system is decades behind the developed world. I foolishly thought that Apple would partner with a more reputable company as this service was offered when buying a new iPhone within the store. 5 days later I was rejected for monthly 0% APR and lost my order, which I will now have to restart. It seems that if you are not Japanese, despite easily meeting the requirements in any other country in the world you get rejected.
Ironic that Apple talks diversity and then partners with bigots.
