Over-charged I have been using this app in Japan but meetup.com has kept charging me more than I have to pay in Japan.
Meetup.com’s third-party payment processor uses my IP and the card issuing Country to determine which price I am charged for my subscription but the monthly subscription price has been wrong and overcharged for more than 3 years.
This has been an serious issue caused by meetup.com and never been fixed at all!
Never use this app.
Scam This app will not allow you to cancel your subscription if you didn’t sign up using AppleID. When you’re signed up it won’t show an active subscription in your subscription tab, so you’ll assume that it doesn’t exist. All the while they’ll be taking payments out of your account behind your back.
You then have to send them a support request but they will deny that you have a subscription and yet again take money out of your account. It’s been going on for over 2 months now on my account and they still haven’t deleted my account even after I sent them evidence of payments being made while I explicitly told them I wanted to cancel my subscription. The people who run this app should be jailed.
