However, there seems to be a total misunderstanding here: The pre-subscription version of our app (now called “Ulysses Classic”) is a completely separate app and you can continue using it as long as you like. It will forever be yours and we are not forcing anyone to take out a subscription. You can re-download it anytime from the “Purchased” section in the App Store, provided you are using the same Apple ID you initially bough Ulysses Classic with. We did not take the decision to move to a subscription-based business model lightly. Not only was it the best option so we can keep developing the best version of Ulysses possible, but it was a necessary step for us to survive as a company.
