It's a very easy-to-use app. I was looking for this. The downside is that it doesn't support Japanese. I think it's difficult because I think it's an overseas company, but I think that it will be downloaded significantly if it corresponds to Japanese. I want you to support Japanese.
I am writing to report a significant issue encountered in HashPhotos version 5.9.7 running on an iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 18.4.1. When attempting to delete photos within the app, the process consistently gets stuck in an infinite loading loop (spinning wheel), and crucially, the expected "Delete Confirmation" dialogue box fails to appear. This prevents any deletion from occurring, rendering the delete function unusable. This issue has been observed repeatedly since the recent update and significantly impacts the app's usability for managing my photo library. The absence of a confirmation prompt is also concerning, as it could lead to accidental deletions should the function suddenly begin working without a warning. I have already tried the standard troubleshooting steps, including: * Force-closing and restarting the app. * Rebooting the iPhone. * Checking for newer app updates (none available beyond 5.9.7 at the time of writing). * Verifying iOS is up to date (currently 18.4.1). Given that this problem occurs consistently, it appears to be a software bug rather than a temporary glitch. I kindly request your urgent attention to this matter. A fix in an upcoming update would be greatly appreciated to restore full functionality.
Thank you for your time and efforts in maintaining such a valuable app.
デベロッパの回答 、 Thank you for using HashPhotos and for leaving your review.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced while using the app.
When deleting photos, HashPhotos sends a deletion request to iOS. After the request is made, a loading indicator appears while waiting for iOS to complete the deletion process. The delete confirmation alert is also handled entirely by iOS. HashPhotos has no control over the confirmation alert or the delete/cancel process — we simply have to wait for iOS to respond.
Based on our findings so far, this issue appears to be related to iOS rather than a problem within HashPhotos. In most cases, restarting the device resolves the issue — though it may reappear later.
We will investigate further on our end to see if there is anything we can do to improve the experience.
