First, I want to express my appreciation for your wonderful music creation software. It's been a great tool for visualizing and composing music!
I'd like to suggest a feature that would make Medly even more powerful: the ability to dynamically adjust BPM during a composition. Currently, it seems the BPM is fixed throughout a project, which limits creative possibilities for tempo changes within a piece.
Implementing this would allow for: - More expressive compositions with ritardando/accelerando sections - Better handling of songs with multiple movements/tempos - Greater flexibility in music visualization
This feature is common in many DAWs, and adding it to Medly would significantly enhance its workflow. Would this be possible in a future update?

I think the confusion here is you believe Member is only about packs. But Member isn't about just packs, it's the full Medly experience. You can't buy packs individually because you don't have to buy Medly to use those packs. Medly is free to use, but the free version should be looked at as a limited free trial that you can use for as long as you'd like.
As to why subscriptions? We constantly update Medly, from new features and bug fixes, to new packs and new device support. Medly is constantly getting better. And rather than make versions of Medly that don't support the latest version of iOS or new devices Apple releases after a year or two (how software was sold in the past), we ask you pay a subscription, so you always have a functioning version of the app.
We also priced Medly Member accordingly, accounting for the fact that you can't keep using Member after you stop paying. Otherwise, the cost would be much higher.
